Marathon Run Helps Multiple Sclerosis UK

Date Posted: 14 April 2013

Jade Thatcher, daughter of Pembridge MD Graham, successfully completed the London Marathon and raised almost £2,500 for Multiple Sclerosis UK.

Not previously a runner, Jade trained hard for many months. She was understandably pleased to clock a time of 4 hours 13 minutes for the 26-mile course.

What delighted Jade most is the £2,454.85 she raised for MS-UK, through direct donations and Gift Aid. Jade said, "Whilst I am proud of my personal achievement, the real joy is being able to donate a large amount to such a worthwhile charity. A big thank you to everyone who supported me".     April 2013
